How Tapt pricing works: product costs versus platform fees

Understand the difference between buying Tapt products and paying for your organisation’s platform subscription.

Written by Elon Datt

Your first-year cost combines the products you buy with your annual platform fee. In later years, the platform fee continues; include any new products you order separately.

Product costs and platform fees

These charges cover different parts of your purchase:

Charge

What it covers

Product purchase

Your Tapt cards or digital profiles and the quantities ordered.

Platform fee

Your organisation's annual platform subscription.

Other order charges

Delivery, tax or other amounts shown on your quote or invoice.

Annual platform pricing

The following annual fees are in Australian dollars:

Profiles

Annual platform fee, AUD

5–9

$99

10–24

$199

25–49

$499

50–149

$1,249

For 150 or more profiles, contact Tapt Support or your account manager for pricing. Ask Tapt to confirm pricing for fewer than 5 profiles or a separate agreement.

Monthly billing is available for enterprise clients. Contact Tapt Support to discuss eligibility and pricing.

Examples: year 1 and year 2

These examples use published Australian product prices and the $199 annual platform fee for 20 profiles. They assume unchanged pricing and profile count, no additional purchases in year 2, and no separate agreement or promotional discount. Delivery and any tax adjustment shown on your quote are excluded.

Purchase

Product calculation

Year 1: products + platform fee

Year 2: platform fee only

20 Tapt Custom cards

20 × $88 = $1,760

$1,760 + $199 = $1,959

$199

20 Tapt Digital profiles

20 × $49 = $980

$980 + $199 = $1,179

$199

The Tapt Custom product page lists $88 per card for orders of 10–24 cards. The Tapt Digital product page lists $49 per profile.

Use your checkout total or quote for the amount payable. Product prices, discounts and renewal fees may change.

Check your organisation's plan

  1. Open Settings > Manage Plan.

  2. Review the plan type and status.

  3. Compare them with your latest invoice or renewal notice.

If an amount differs from an earlier quote, contact Tapt Support with both documents and the billing period. Ask which pricing and profile count were used.
