Customising your Tapt card's two-way contact exchange form allows you to collect essential information from contacts when they tap your card.

By following these steps, you can easily edit and enable the form to ensure you gather the right details:

Step 1: Access Your Tapt Dashboard

  1. Login: Visit www.tapt.io and log in to your Tapt account using your credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to Your Profile Settings

  1. Click on "Profiles": From the left-hand navigation menu, click on "Profiles" to access your profile management settings.

Step 3: Edit Two-Way Contact Exchange Form

  1. Choose a Profile: Locate and click on the profile for which you want to edit the two-way contact exchange form.

  2. Enable Two-Way Contact Exchange: Scroll down to the "Two-way Contact Exchange Form" section. Toggle the switch to enable the form. This will allow your contacts to share their details with you when they tap your Tapt card.

Step 4: Customise the Form Fields

  1. Edit Form Fields: To customise the information you collect, click on "Settings" then "Contact Exchange". You can add, remove, or rearrange fields to gather the specific details you need. Common fields include name, email, phone number, company, and job title. For certain organisations, you may prefer individuals with whom you're exchanging details to fill out a consent form.

  2. Required Fields: You can also mark certain fields as required to ensure that contacts provide essential information.

Step 5: Save Changes

  1. Save Edits: After making your desired changes to the two-way contact exchange form, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save" to apply your modifications.

Step 6: Test the Form (Recommended)

  1. Tap Your Card: To ensure that the form functions as intended, tap your Tapt card on your phone or another device that supports NFC. Complete the form as a test contact to verify that the information is being collected correctly.
