Use the Tapt App to share your profile from your phone. You can also edit profile details when your organisation's permissions allow it.
Edit your profile
Open the Tapt App and check that you're using the intended profile.
Open the profile's edit control.
Update the available fields, such as your name, job title and contact details.
Save your changes.
Open the shared profile and confirm the details are correct.
If editing is unavailable or an administrator message appears, ask your organisation administrator to make the change or review your editing permission.
Profile appearance can also be controlled by an organisation template. Permission to change contact details does not necessarily let you change colours or branding.
Share your QR code
Open Share in the Tapt App.
Display the profile QR code.
Ask the other person to scan it with their phone camera and open the link.
Check that the intended profile is selected before presenting the code.
Share a profile link
From Share, select Copy Link and paste the link into a message, email or another app.
You can also select Share to choose a destination through your phone's sharing options. Open the link once yourself to check the profile it leads to.
Share contact details without internet
The Offline Mode in the app's Share area displays a QR code that generates a contact card on the recipient's device.
Use it to share a contact card without opening the online profile. Opening the online profile still requires an internet connection.
Check the recipient's contact preview and complete the save prompt on their phone.
