The person receiving your details does not need the Tapt App. They can open your profile from their phone's NFC notification, camera or browser.
Before you share
Tap or scan your own Tapt product and check that the correct profile opens. Review the details before sharing them with someone else.
Share by tapping a Tapt product
Ask the other person to unlock their phone.
Hold the Tapt product near the phone's NFC reading area:
On an iPhone, hold it near the top of the phone.
On an Android phone, hold it near the back of the phone.
Ask the person to open the notification. Their browser opens your Tapt profile.
Share with a QR code
Use the QR code printed on your Tapt product, or display the profile QR code in the Tapt App.
Open the Tapt App.
Open Share.
Display your QR code.
Ask the other person to scan it with their phone's camera and open the link.
Share a profile link
Open the Tapt App.
Open Share.
Select Copy Link and paste the link into a message or email.
You can also select Share and choose an available app from your phone's share menu.
Confirm the result
The recipient should see the same profile regardless of whether they tapped the product, scanned its QR code or opened the shared link.
Troubleshooting
If tapping does not work, ask the recipient to scan the QR code. Check that NFC is turned on and try a different position on the phone before testing again.
