A contact collected in Tapt is not automatically saved to your phone's address book. Open the contact and complete your phone's save process to add it there.
Save from the Tapt App
Open the Tapt App.
Open Contacts.
Select the contact you want to save.
Select Save.
Review the contact preview opened by your phone.
Choose the appropriate option to create or save the contact and confirm.
The final controls depend on your phone and contacts app. Review the details before saving, especially if the person is already in your address book.
Save from a contact email
If your Tapt notification includes a .vcf attachment, you can use that file instead. A VCF file is a contact card that a contacts app can import.
Open the relevant Tapt notification email on your phone.
Open the
.vcfattachment.Check the name and contact details in the preview.
Complete the phone's save-to-contacts prompt.
If the email does not contain an attachment, try the contact in the Tapt App. Do not assume every notification or contact capture sends the same email.
Confirm the contact was saved
Open your phone's contacts app and search for the person's name. Confirm the phone number and email were imported as expected.
If you use several contacts accounts, check which account or list is displayed before saving the contact again.
If saving does not work
Try the other method above, if available. Record whether the failure occurs before the contact preview opens or when saving it.
Contact Tapt Support with your phone model, app version, the method used and the error message. Include only the contact information needed to investigate.
