As an organisation, Tapt provides you with the flexibility to decide who has the authority to edit profiles. This company-wide setting allows you to enable or disable profile editing for individual users.

Here's how you can manage profile editing permissions:

Profile Editing Enabled

If you choose to enable profile editing for individual users, they will have the freedom to update their own profiles via the Tapt app. Here's how to set it up:

  • Access the Tapt Dashboard using a web browser.

  • On the left-hand navigation bar, click on "Settings."

  • Select the "Profile and Editing" tab from the options.

  • Within the "Profile and Editing" tab, find the option to "Enable Employee Editing Access" and activate it.

  • Once enabled, individual users will receive an email with instructions on how to edit their profiles through the Tapt app.

Profile Editing Disabled

If you prefer to manage profile editing centrally and disable it for individual users, you can do so in the Tapt Dashboard.

Here's how:

  • Log in to the Tapt Dashboard using a web browser.

  • Click on "Settings" in the left-hand navigation bar.

  • Choose the "Profile and Editing" tab.

  • Locate the option to "Disable Employee Editing Access" and activate it.

  • With profile editing disabled, individual users will no longer be able to edit their profiles via the Tapt app.

  • Tap on the bottom-left card logo in the app to access your profile.

By customising profile editing permissions, you can streamline the process of keeping profiles up-to-date while maintaining control over profile customisation within your organisation.

Choose the approach that best suits your needs, either empowering users to edit their profiles or centralising editing authority with the admin.

With Tapt, you have the power to tailor profile management to fit your organisation's unique requirements.
