You can manage profile editing permissions from your Dashboard by navigating to Settings > Preferences.
What Are Employee Editing Permissions?
This setting controls whether profile holders can edit their own profiles in the Tapt App.
When enabled, users can update their profile information at any time, helping keep their details accurate and up to date. When disabled, profile changes can only be managed by an account administrator, giving your organisation more control over profile content.
How It Works
If toggled ON
Users can select Edit Profile in the Tapt App.
They can update all profile information, including their job title and contact details.
If toggled OFF
Users will not be able to edit their profile in the Tapt App.
They’ll see a message prompting them to contact their account administrator for any profile updates.
Choosing the Right Setting
The best option depends on how you'd like to manage profile information within your organisation:
Turn it ON if you'd like users to keep their own details up to date as changes happen.
Turn it OFF if you'd prefer administrators to review and manage all profile updates.
You can update this setting at any time, so you're always in control of how profile changes are managed.
