Manage multiple profiles, businesses or brands

Use groups and profile-design settings to organise profiles that need different managers or branding.

Written by Elon Datt

Groups help an organisation organise profiles into sub-teams. They can be useful when you manage different businesses, offices, departments or brands that need their own managers or profile design.

How groups work

A group can contain profiles and assigned group managers. A group template can apply a separate profile design to the profiles in that group.

Administrators can create groups and add or remove profiles. Group managers have access only to the groups assigned to them.

Create a group

  1. Sign in to the Tapt Dashboard.

  2. Open Profiles and then Groups.

  3. Select Create Group.

  4. Name the group and add the relevant profiles.

  5. Apply the required group branding.

  6. Save the group.

Manage a group's branding

Open the group's template to update the cover image and profile colours. Preview the design before saving it, as the group template is applied to profiles in that group.

Moving profiles between groups

You can move a profile from the group editor or from the profile screen. Open the profile's three-dot menu, select Add to Group, then select the destination group.

Note: A profile can belong to only one group at a time.

Moving a profile to another group changes the group template that applies to it. Review the destination group's branding before confirming the move.
