So, you've just made a new connection through your Tapt card β awesome! Now, youβre probably wondering, how do I save this new contact to my phone?
Since we can't automatically add contacts to your phone (due to security restrictions β we promise we're not snooping in your phone!), here are two easy ways to save a contact.
Save the Contact from the Tapt App
The Tapt App is designed to make managing your connections super easy. Here's how to save contacts directly from the app:
Open the Tapt App on your phone.
Head to the 'Contacts' tab (this is where all your new connections live).
Tap on the contact you want to save.
Select the 'Save' option.
Your contact saving mechanism will open.
This will be different depending on what phone you have, but generally you'll want to choose the option to create a new contact.
The contact will now appear in your phone's address book. π
This method is especially handy if you're saving multiple contacts at once or prefer keeping everything in one place.
Save the Contact from Your Email
Every time you gain a new connection through Tapt, you'll receive an email with the contact's details. Here's how to save it:
Open the email from Tapt.
You'll see a .vcf file attached (this is like a digital business card).
Tap the file to open it.
Select 'Save to Contacts' (or similar, depending on your phone) β and you're done!
