Understand dashboard analytics

Use Tapt Dashboard analytics to review profile activity, contact exchange, referrers, link engagement and location trends.

Written by Elon Datt

The Analytics page shows how profiles in your Tapt organisation are being viewed and used. You can filter analytics by profile, group or date to focus the results.

Open and filter analytics

  1. Go to Insights > Analytics.

  2. Choose the profile or group you want to review.

  3. Set the relevant date range.

  4. Review the analytics cards for the selected filters.

Your role affects which profiles and groups you can include. Group managers can review only the parts of the organisation available to their role.

Understand each metric

  • Total Profile Views: The number of times profiles were viewed for the selected filters.

  • Total Contacts Sent & Received: Contact-exchange activity recorded for the selected profiles or groups.

  • Most Active Profiles: Profiles with the highest recorded activity for the selected period.

  • Top Referrers: Sources that directed visitors to the profiles.

  • Social Links: Engagement with social links added to the profiles.

  • Top Geolocations: The leading locations associated with recorded profile activity.

Read each card within the filters and date range currently applied. Do not compare 2 periods unless they use the same profile or group scope.

Use analytics to review adoption

Analytics can help you identify:

  • profiles that are receiving views or contact exchanges;

  • teams or groups with different levels of activity;

  • links receiving engagement; and

  • the sources and locations associated with profile visits.

Analytics describes recorded Tapt activity. Use it alongside your organisation’s other business data before drawing conclusions about an individual employee’s performance.

Troubleshooting

If a result looks incomplete, confirm the selected profile, group and date filters first. Then check that the profile and product assignment are correct.

Contact Tapt Support with the organisation name, affected profile or group, date range and metric name if the result still appears incorrect.
