Configure wallet branding in the Tapt Dashboard, review both phone formats, then send users an invitation to add the updated pass.
Update the wallet template
Sign in to the Tapt Dashboard with access to your organisation's templates.
Open Templates and edit the relevant template.
Open Digital Wallet.
Update the company logo, banner image and background colour. Use Text colour (Apple only) for the Apple text colour.
Review the Apple and Google previews.
Select Save changes.
The editor shows recommended image dimensions and upload limits. Use those specifications when preparing your assets. Review both previews because Apple and Google display the pass differently.
Check the profile and template
Confirm that the affected employee uses the intended template. Check their profile picture, name, company and job title; these details are used on the pass.
If the wrong information is on the profile, correct that before issuing another invitation.
Send an updated pass
Choose a test employee's profile in the Dashboard.
Send a wallet-pass invitation.
Ask the employee to open the new invitation on their phone and follow its add-to-wallet prompts.
Compare the saved pass with the design preview.
Test the QR code before sending invitations to the rest of the team.
Do not assume that saving a template has refreshed every pass already installed on employees' phones.
If the saved pass still looks old
Check that the user opened the latest invitation, selected the correct phone type and is viewing the intended pass.
If the design remains unchanged, contact Tapt Support with the profile, template, phone type and screenshots of the preview and saved pass. State whether a new invitation was used.
