An organisation administrator can send a wallet-pass invitation from an employee's profile in the Tapt Dashboard. The email gives the employee options for adding the pass on their phone.
Before sending invitations
Check each employee's name, email and profile details. Confirm that the intended wallet template is configured for both Apple and Google previews.
Start with one employee on each phone type so you can check the design and QR destination before wider distribution.
Send a wallet invitation
Open Profiles and find the employee's profile.
Open the 3-dot menu in the profile's Other column.
Select Share wallet pass.
Ask the employee to check the inbox associated with their profile.
To send passes in bulk:
Select the intended profiles in Profiles.
Open the 3-dot action menu for the selected profiles.
Select Share digital wallet card.
Ask employees to check their profile email inboxes.
Check the selected profiles before sending. A wallet invitation is different from an invitation to connect to the Tapt App.
What the employee does
Open the wallet invitation on their phone.
Select the option for iPhone or Android.
Follow the prompts to add the pass.
Open the saved pass and check the details.
Test its QR code using another phone.
If the employee reads email only on a computer, they can copy the relevant wallet link and send it to themselves through a tool available on their phone.
If the invitation is missing or incorrect
Check the email on the selected profile and the recipient's spam folder. Confirm that you sent a wallet-pass invitation, rather than an app invitation or email-signature message.
If a pass shows another person's information, stop distribution and check the profile selection. Contact Tapt Support if the correct profile still produces the wrong pass.
Include the organisation, affected profile, recipient email, phone type and approximate send time.
