An admin can invite profile holders to connect their profile to the Tapt App. The invitation is sent to the email address attached to each profile.
Before you begin
Check that each profile contains the intended person’s current email address. The person needs access to that inbox to use email verification.
Check an employee’s app status
Open Profiles in the Tapt Dashboard and review the App column beside each profile:
a green tick means the profile holder has connected to the Tapt App;
a red cross means they have not connected; and
a yellow ellipsis means an invitation has been sent but the person has not connected.
Invite one employee
Open Profiles in the Tapt Dashboard.
Find the profile you want to invite.
Select the app icon in the App column.
The profile holder receives an email with instructions to download the Tapt App and connect to their profile.
Invite employees in bulk
Open Profiles in the Tapt Dashboard.
Select the profiles you want to invite.
Open the 3-dot action menu.
Select Invite to App.
An invitation is sent to the email address on each selected profile.
Give access after reassigning a profile
Before inviting a new employee, update the reassigned profile with the new employee’s email address. Then send a new app invitation from Profiles.
If the old employee’s email remains on the profile, the new employee may connect to the wrong account or be unable to receive the verification code.
Troubleshooting
If the employee cannot find the invitation, confirm the email address on the profile and ask them to check their spam or junk folder.
They can also open the Tapt App and continue by email using the same email address attached to the profile. Contact Tapt Support if the profile is linked to an address the employee cannot access.
