Review, amend and approve your proof

Check each card before production, request corrections and approve the final artwork in the Tapt Dashboard.

Written by Elon Datt

A proof is the artwork prepared for your review before printing. Check it carefully: your approval tells Tapt to proceed with production.

Open the proof

  1. Open Orders and find your order.

  2. Select Approval Needed to open the proof viewer.

If the status is Design in Progress, the design or your feedback is still being reviewed. If you need an update, contact Tapt Support with the order number.

Check every card

Review all pages and cardholders, including:

  • Names, job titles and other printed contact details.

  • Logos, branding, colours and layout.

  • The intended front and back, where applicable.

  • Which design belongs to each person.

  • Any amendments you previously requested.

Note: During proof review, the QR code may open a Tapt webpage rather than the cardholder's profile. Tapt updates the QR code to the relevant person's profile before the card is printed and shipped.

If the proof differs from your submitted design, request changes and attach the original file or a marked-up example.

Request an amendment

  1. Select Make Design Changes.

  2. Explain the correction and identify the affected page or cardholder.

  3. Add supporting files where needed.

  4. Submit the feedback.

  5. Review the revised proof when it is ready.

Keep requesting corrections until the proof matches the intended result.

Approve the final proof

Important: Approve only when every card is correct. Changes or cancellation may no longer be possible once the order moves into production.

Select Proceed to Printing to approve the proof. The order then progresses to printing and dispatch.

A later digital profile edit does not confirm a change to the artwork you approved.

Find the approved artwork later

Once the order is completed, open it in Orders and select Final Design. You can use the approved artwork as a starting point for future orders.
