Tell your organisation administrator as soon as a card is lost or stolen. A Tapt card does not store all profile content, but anyone who finds it may be able to open its linked digital profile.
If the card is lost or stolen
Identify the profile connected to the card in the Tapt Dashboard.
Review the public details and links currently shown on that profile.
Decide whether the profile must remain available for a replacement product.
Contact Tapt Support if the lost product must be deactivated without deleting the profile.
Order a replacement when you are ready.
Important: Deleting a profile is irreversible. Do not delete it solely to disable a lost card unless you have confirmed that the profile and its data are no longer required.
If the card is damaged
Check the card for cracks, deep bends, peeling layers or damage around the QR code.
Scan the QR code.
Test the NFC tap on two compatible phones.
If the QR code works but NFC does not, complete the NFC troubleshooting checks before requesting a replacement.
If neither sharing method works, contact Tapt Support with photos and the test results.
