Reuse or duplicate a design across multiple employees

Use an approved design for another order or prepare different card layouts for people in the same order.

Written by Elon Datt

You can use a previous final proof as the starting point for another card order. Keep the shared branding and update the printed details for each person.

Find your approved design

  1. Open Orders and find the completed order.

  2. Select Final Design to view the approved artwork.

  3. Identify the design you want to reuse for the new order.

If you can't find it, contact Tapt Support with the previous order number and the design you want to use.

Use one design for several employees

Place the new order, then use the previous proof as the basis for its design submission. Provide the new employees' printed details and identify any changes to the shared branding.

For uploaded artwork, prepare one file with separate pages or artboards for each person. Include the details to be printed on each card.

Review every employee's proof. Check long names, different job titles and contact details rather than approving only the first example.

Note: When you reorder using an existing design, Tapt will send a proof for review before printing.

Prepare different layouts in one order

You cannot create multiple designs for one order in the Card Customiser. If one order needs more than one design, contact Tapt Support with the order number and explain which employees need each design. The team will help you complete the order.

Check each design and employee assignment again when the proofs arrive.

Reuse a design for a replacement

A replacement order uses the most recently approved card design and the latest information on the linked profile. If a printed detail such as the job title needs to change, update the profile before ordering the replacement. The replacement proof should show the updated information; check it carefully before approving.

Contact Tapt Support before placing a replacement order if the card needs a completely new layout or branding.
